How Cadoo Paces Your Workout — The 60-Second Guided Set — Cadoo

Once your practice rep qualifies, Cadoo counts you in and you get a focused 60-second set. It's short, guided, and hands-free by design. Here's what happens from "GO" to your reps being counted.

Counted in, then GO

The coach hands you into your set with an unmistakable countdown — "get ready… get set… GO — record your reps!" — each beat marked with a tick and a tap you can feel. No guessing when the clock starts.

A tempo for every rep

Through the set, Cadoo runs a steady rhythm tuned to your exercise: an effort cue and a return cue on the beat, so you always have a tempo to follow — "down slow… chest to floor… press up… lock out." Between beats it drops in quick reminders that keep you honest, like "full range, every rep" and "clean reps are the ones that pay." Since your reps are literally worth money, it'll remind you what's on the line, too. Curious what makes a rep count for each move? Start with how Cadoo counts pushups.

The finish — hands-free

At the halfway mark the coach checks in, and with five seconds left it calls the finish — "one more rep, finish up!" — as the clock ticks down 3… 2… 1. When it hits zero, Cadoo stops and submits your clip automatically. No hunting for a button mid-set with sweaty hands. The set is banked and on its way to be counted.

Done early? Stop and submit

You don't have to ride out the full 60 seconds. Tap the on-screen Stop button whenever you're done — say you knocked out your reps in 30 seconds — and Cadoo takes you to a quick review-and-submit. Your shorter clip uploads and every rep in it is counted. There's no minimum length; you simply bank whatever you did.

How the reps get counted

The coach guides you live, but the actual counting and form scoring happen after you submit, in Cadoo's verification. That's what keeps the count consistent and fair for every player — the same standard applies whether you finish at 60 seconds or stop at 30. Full-range reps get credited; the ones that pay are the clean ones.

Frequently asked questions

Can I submit before 60 seconds?

Yes. Tap Stop any time, review your clip, and submit. Cadoo counts the reps in it — there's no minimum length, you just bank fewer than a full minute would allow.

Do I have to tap submit?

Not if you run the clock out — at 60 seconds Cadoo stops and submits automatically. If you stop early, you'll confirm with a quick SUBMIT tap.

How are my reps actually counted?

Cadoo's verification reads your submitted clip and counts full-range reps, then scores your form. It's the same standard for everyone — see how Cadoo scores your form.
