Step-by-Step Connection Guide
Step 1: Open Cadoo and Navigate to Settings
Launch the Cadoo app on your iPhone or Android device. Tap on your profile icon, then select Connected Apps or Wearables from the settings menu.
Step 2: Choose Your Tracker
You will see a list of all supported trackers. Tap on the fitness tracker brand you want to connect. For example, tap Garmin if you use a Garmin watch.
Step 3: Authorize the Connection
You will be redirected to your tracker provider’s login page. Sign in with your existing account credentials (the same ones you use in your Garmin Connect, Fitbit, or Strava app). Grant Cadoo permission to read your activity data.
Step 4: Confirm the Connection
Once authorized, you will be redirected back to Cadoo. Your tracker should now appear as Connected in the settings. Cadoo will begin syncing your activity data automatically.
Step 5: Start a Game
With your tracker connected, you can now join running, cycling, swimming, walking, and step challenge games that use tracker data for verification.
What Data Does Each Tracker Provide?
Different trackers send different types of data to Cadoo. Here is what you can expect:

- Distance — Running, walking, cycling, and swimming distance from all supported trackers
- Duration — Workout time and active minutes

- Activity Type — Automatic detection of running, cycling, swimming, and other activities
Troubleshooting Common Connection Issues
Tracker Not Syncing Data
If your tracker is connected but data is not appearing in Cadoo, try these steps:
- Open your tracker’s companion app (Garmin Connect, Fitbit app, etc.) and make sure it has synced recently
- Force-close the Cadoo app and reopen it
- Disconnect and reconnect the tracker in Cadoo settings
- Check that your tracker’s companion app has background sync enabled
Authorization Failed
If the connection fails during authorization:
- Make sure you are using the correct login credentials for your tracker account
- Clear your browser cache and try again
- Check if your tracker provider is experiencing any outages
Data Appears Delayed
Tracker data may take a few minutes to sync to Cadoo. This is normal. The data flows from your wearable to your tracker’s cloud service, then to Cadoo through Terra. Allow up to 15 minutes for activity data to appear after completing a workout.
Important: One Tracker Per Game
When you join a game on Cadoo, you select one tracker to use for that specific game. All your progress in that game will be measured using data from that single tracker. This ensures fair play and consistent measurement across all participants.
